Chase Murphy and the Backroads Band is an Americana / Country Music project born out of Huron County, MI in 2024. Starting out as a solo project by band leader Chase Murphy, the project eventually brought 3 friends together to breathe life into stale bar covers. The band expanded on universally loved cover songs, B sides, multiple genres, and unique artists to put personal journeys behind every song shared with their audiences. The band also writes and plays original music, and mixes those original songs in their shows with covers, for a balanced experience of familiarity and unity for new audiences. The occasional musical guest, or day-player sometimes sits by their sides to add an extra layer of love to the show or series of shows.
